Charitable Giving Guidelines & How to Apply

General Information & Our Process

Armando’s Charitable Giving program strives to support as many organizations and programs as possible, however, please understand we receive hundreds of requests per year and simply cannot support/accommodate every request.  With this in mind, if you have received a charitable donation from Armando’s previously, please wait at least six months before applying again. There is no limit to the number of donations Armando’s will make per month, rather there is a monthly charitable giving budget that we work within.

Requests for cash donations, gift cards, and in-kind donations will be considered if the program and organization meet the guidelines set forth below. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the guidelines and application process.

All requests should be submitted no later than 45 days before the donation is required.

Our Selection Process: Any and all applications submitted here are reviewed by our General Manager to verify compliance with the guidelines. If the application meets the guidelines set forth on this page they will move on to the next stage.

After compliance is verified applications will be discussed and either approved or denied during Armando’s monthly staff meeting. Any donation requests with a donation date in the following month will be voted on during the staff meeting. For instance, if your request date is for an event/program that takes place in April it will be discussed at the March meetings. The applications will be discussed and voted on by the staff during the meeting and honored in most votes to least vote order within the confines of our giving budget. If you wish to apply online and would like to personally present to the staff during the meeting (typically the last Sunday of the month) please make a note on the application so we can arrange it. Personally presenting does not mean your donation request will be approved, nor will you be permitted to remain present during the staff vote.
